Her projects include acting for a contractor on the engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning of submarine high voltage power cable for the import of renewable energy into Singapore, advising a sponsor on a 280 MWp solar project in Bangladesh, advising on the development and project financing of the first hydrogen-ready 600 MW combined cycle gas turbine power plant in Singapore, acting for a bidder on its bid to import renewable energy into Singapore and advising on the development of a battery energy storage system project in Singapore (one of the largest in South East Asia). She has also advised an airport operator on the grant of concession to operate and maintain a co-generation plant to supply electricity and chilled water to an international airport in Malaysia, advised the preferred bidder on the development of a sea water desalination plant on a DBOO basis in Jurong Island, Singapore and advised the master developer for One Bangkok on the development of certain utility infrastructure on a DBOFT basis.

Dennis heads the Firm’s Business Consulting division and has extensive external and internal audit as well as risk management experience. He is actively involved in providing corporate governance, internal audit and enterprise risk management services to Singapore listed companies, fund management companies, family managed businesses and statutory boards across a wide array of sectors, including financial services, real estate and construction, healthcare, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, retail and social services.
Dennis works closely with boards, and audit and risk committees, as well as senior management in the planning and delivery of internal audit, control self-assessment and enterprise-wide risk management deliverables. He assists numerous listed companies to ensure compliance with the enhanced SGX Listing Rules and to address risk governance requirements as specified in the Code of Corporate Governance. In addition, Dennis facilitates board and management discussions on risk strategies that have paved the way for the development of risk management frameworks and implementation of risk management programmes.
Dennis is also the Industry Lead for the Firm’s Real Estate & Construction Practice. He has been leading numerous projects to evaluate risk and provide strategic advisory for real estate and construction businesses, helping them to achieve growth and implement expansion plans successfully.
An active speaker on the public circuit, Dennis has been involved in numerous seminars organised by the Singapore Institute of Directors, Securities Investors Association (Singapore), financial institutions and business associations that cover topics such as strategic management, business resilience, internal controls and risk governance. GUIDELINES
- Nomination is open to all construction, architecture, and interior design companies in the Asia Pacific region.
- Each company may nominate up to 4 categories only.
- Each nomination form is valid for 1 entry only. If you are nominating for several categories, please submit separate nomination forms.
- A panel of chosen industry experts will evaluate and rate each nomination based on the write-up and supporting documents submitted.
- Deadline for submission of entries is on 5 April 2024.

Open to Industry Players:
The awards warmly invite companies operating within the diverse and vibrant Asian landscape to showcase their exceptional contributions to the built environment. This includes construction firms, architectural practices, and interior design companies.
Project Timeline:
- Completed Projects: Include developments or initiatives that were launched and successfully concluded between 2023 and 2024.
- Ongoing Projects: Encompass developments currently in progress with an expected completion date on or before 2026.
- Successful Initiatives: Any impactful projects or initiatives, whether fully or partially launched, within the last 24 months are also eligible for consideration.
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
1. Achievements:
- What specific milestones and accomplishments were reached?
- How effectively did the projects or initiatives meet or surpass their initial goals and objectives?
- In what ways did each project or initiative contribute positively to the respective industries, communities, or environments?
2. Challenges & Solutions:
- What were the primary challenges faced?
- How were these challenges identified, and what strategies or solutions were implemented to overcome them?
- Can you provide examples of innovative problem-solving approaches employed during the projects or initiatives?
3. Innovation & Uniqueness:
- What innovative construction techniques, materials, technologies, or operational approaches were utilized?
- How were advancements in the construction or operational industry integrated to enhance uniqueness?
- In what specific ways does each project or initiative stand out due to innovative approaches in design, functionality, or overall concept?
4. Effectiveness & Impact:
- How effective were the projects or initiatives in achieving their intended goals and objectives?
- What positive impacts did each project or initiative have on local communities, the environment, economy, or relevant stakeholders?
- Can you provide quantifiable or descriptive evidence to gauge the overall success and effectiveness?
5. Dynamism:
- How did each project or initiative demonstrate adaptability to changing circumstances or requirements?

HOW TO ENTER
1. Go to the Online Nomination Form.
- Read the award entry guidelines and eligibility for your reference.
- Fill out the company information and entrant details fields.
- Choose the category that you'd like to enter.
- Provide entry information:

- 500-word summary of the entry

- Upload your supporting documents and project photos to further strengthen your entry.
- Choose the winners package that you will take up, should you win an award.
2. You will then receive an email confirmation from the organisers after your nomination has been received.
